‘In Touch’ Marsha Swanson

Listening to “In Touch” was really beautiful; this exquisitely created work of art stayed with me for a long time. The three generations of female voices, each reading poems so softly, really caught me. Their words really spoke to me since they seemed to surround the ideas of time and connection. Each delivery added its own special vitality, and taken together, they produced a harmony that was both melancholic and inspirational.

Additionally, there was a surprising musical twist that actually caught me off guard—in the best of terms! Finding a track that shocks you and leaves you thinking about it long after it ends is not common. Marsha clearly wants the work to be universal and personal. “In Touch”, for me, wonderfully caught the common human experiences she discussed. As a result, I shall be returning to this track anytime I need inspiration or introspection.
