“No Man’s Land” Artic Baba
Words: A. Murray.
Italian indie-rock outfit Artic Baba are back and louder than ever with their brand-new single, “No Man’s Land”, a track that hits like a shot of pure adrenaline. Released on May 30th and recorded at Quarto Suono Studios, the song is a no-holds-barred showcase of the band’s evolution—bold, emotional, and unapologetically raw.
Written by Luca Iosca and sculpted sonically by the expert mixing and mastering of Angelo Sasso, “No Man’s Land” fuses gritty guitar riffs with relentless basslines and thunderous drum work. It’s the kind of indie-rock anthem that grabs you from the first beat and doesn’t let go, all while frontwoman Valentina “Valy” Cosentino delivers a powerhouse vocal performance that drips with feeling.
This is a band with history. Formed in their teenage years, life took the members of Artic Baba on different paths, but their shared musical bond brought them back together in 2020 under the name Artic Baba. Since then, they’ve made waves with their debut single “Mr. CRAZY”, which earned a spot on Bongo Boy Records’ GRAMMY®-recognized compilation, and continued to build momentum with the genre-defying “Onde Radio.”
With “No Man’s Land,” Artic Baba not only stay true to their roots, they dig deeper. The band’s signature energy has matured into something more expansive, more commanding. From Jolu and Ngl’s razor-edged guitars to Alessandro Nordio’s groove-laced bass and Romualdo Del Buono’s rhythmic fire on drums, every piece of the puzzle clicks.
