The latest album by Voodoo Rays is ‘Empire’, and it is an absolute pleasure to listen to. The album has a charming indie vibe throughout its ten tense tracks, each of which brings something distinctive to the foreground of the scene.

‘Empire’ has a feel that is reminiscent of some of the best indie tracks from the past while simultaneously maintaining its relevance to the current scene. The vocals are captivating, and the enticing texture of the singing helps to transport us into the record. In addition to this, the guitars spin through the mix with distinction, while the drums tap with a striking bite. Meanwhile, the bass is what holds everything together and gives it a solid foundation; we simply cannot get enough of them right about now!
