On February 17, 2023, Ervin will release his first song of the year, ‘Carolynn’. The new song by the British musician represents not only another step forward in his discography but also country and folk music in general.

The release, of which we have heard a preview in advance of its official release, is flowing with emotionally charged lyrics and a music foundation which is as enticing as it is indenting. Ervin focuses on the perspective of the companion of someone who is depressed. There is a feeling of nostalgia that ushers its way through the words as Ervin looks back at life.
