I can’t resist a funk album, and when it’s performed in front of a crowd, it’s much more satisfying to me. Because of this, “Live From The Jam House” by Thomas Atlas is ticking all my boxes!

Jamming his through his discog, Thomas leaves no stone unturned with his delivery. His band is playing at a high level, and Thomas makes a significant leap with his vocal delivery, which causes me to become fixed on the speakers. He possesses a soulful singing style that works well with the funky backdrop that is behind him, and the grooves that emerge out of each tune have me bouncing around as if there is no tomorrow.

I first started paying attention to Thomas when he released the song “Got This Feeling”, and ever since then, I’ve been following him like a crazy ex. The music that he is bringing us is on par with the very best that the industry has to offer right now, and the one-of-a-kind funk quality that he possesses is hard to beat!
