Calboa returns with his new release ‘Admission’. It is a follow-up single to his previous releases earlier this year, and again, Calboa mixes up his sound to create a record which is fresh and exciting.

It was not too long ago since I first came across Calboa, but it seems like I have known him for years. Why? Because he is dropping hits like there is no tomorrow. Who can blame him? He has a talent which is shaping the modern indie scene, and his ability to re-ignite his spark time and time again is inspiring.

Vocally, Calboa is on top form. He sings with a clear message, and his words ring true with piercing meaning. Also, I enjoy how he goes against the current with an upbeat verse and a more melancholy chorus. Is this a new approach for the artist? It appears to be, yet again proving his ability to be versatile as a musician.

Towards the latter part of the track, Calboa introduces a bridge with a new direction in the sound. It comes in an omnipotent fashion, and it fastens us in firmly ahead of the final chorus.
