The EP ‘{re}defining’ by Darcy Louch is a new favourite, and I simply cannot get enough of it.

Opening with ‘Worst Enemy’, it is clear that Darcy possesses all of the qualities necessary to become a well-known name in the pop industry. She bestows upon us a delivery that is comparable to that of some of the top players in the scene right now, and she brings a variety of styles and aspects to the table, which together create a one-of-a-kind soundscape that grows better the more the play button is pressed.

‘Proud’ is my personal favourite because of the expressive quality it possesses. It is believable and has an emotional resonance with a story that gives me goosebumps that shoot upward. Darcy sings about the things that have happened to her throughout her life, and she does so with her heart on her sleeve.
